About First Class Heating and A/C

First Class Heating and Air was founded in January of 1994 by Neil and Melinda Newell. Neil and Mendy both went to school in St. Augustine and have raised their two daughters here in St. Johns County as well. Neil brought Jim Blakney on board with them and they started as a three-team company, with Mendy running the office and Neil & Jim doing all of the fieldwork. The moral fiber of the company was a priority (and still is) so all of the employees that were hired were Drug Tested and Background Checked. This policy is still in effect today even with the high cost of running these tests.

Our Philosophy We believe in the old school form of thinking, where your word is your reputation and a hand shake has value. Where honesty, hard work, great communication, dealing with people fairly and respectfully is a priority on our list. We believe that hard work and doing the job right is what counts the most. We price fairly for the quality of work we provide and the continued service we will give you. We understand that our Clients are our neighbors, families, and friends.

As the company continues to grow, Neil spends a great deal of attention to teaching his employees and keeping them abreast of the constantly changing technologies involved in properly installing, servicing, and maintaining Central Heating and Cooling units in the North Florida, St. Augustine, and St. Johns County areas.
