What's New at First Class Heating
& Air Conditioning
Making the best decisions
about your air conditioning system
Perhaps you may need and will want more than just a new heat
pump. Please read on to decide for yourself.
Many of the homes in your neighborhood are at the age that
the heat pumps are being replaced. First Class A/C,LLC replaces
over 100 hundred pieces of equipment in St. Johns County every
year.
The typical homeowner is quite unfamiliar with the process
of selecting new heat pump equipment since it's normally done
only once every 10-20 years. Many look at their systems and
only see "a box" that needs replacing in order to
keep conditioned air coming into the home.
It seems reasonable to assume that getting a new heat pump
is just like getting a new refrigerator - move out the old
one, move in the new one and plug it in. Well, we would like
to help you understand that a new heat pump is not an appliance
that we can just plug in. It's actually one component in a
custom built system that is made specifically for your home.
It’s sort of like getting a custom-fitted suit.
Your heat pump is attached to electrical and refrigeration
lines, there's an indoor coil that has to be able to talk to
it. Then there's the ducting system. Even if the heat pump
and all the other components work perfectly, ducting defects
can reduce the amount of cooling and heating and the system's
efficiency by up to 50%. Ducts age poorly, you know, they wrinkle
and sag. Yet when heat pumps are replaced, , less than 3% of
installing contractors have the tools or the training to test
the ductwork.
First Class A/C, LLC is one of less than 2% of the contractors
in the country to become certified by National Comfort Institute
to measure the performance of your entire heat pump system.
We use instruments that are still made one at a time to help
you and us understand the performance of your system. We record
the test data on easy to read forms and show you how the components
are working together. Sometimes we find the heat pump doesn't
even need replacing!
We invite you to get informed so you can make the best decisions
about your air conditioning system. Use the following questions
to begin the evaluation, then call us with your questions and
we can begin to help you decide how to improve comfort and
reduce operating costs.
Did you get what you paid for?
We have a confession: In the past, we were not aware of the
availability of new tools and methods that could help us diagnose
even the toughest comfort problems.
Upon learning about them, First Class A/C,LLc has invested
in the training and instruments that have helped thousands
of homeowners achieve comfortable, safe and healthy indoor
environments.
We recently earned a National Balancing Institute certification
and are now one of less than 2000 certified companies in the
world! We have learned how to deliver real comfort and energy
efficiency.
It’s simple too. We discovered that the elements of
comfort- Air, Heat, Cold, Humidity and Energy, are invisible.
New technology allows us to measure and record the performance
of your air conditioning and heating systems.
- We can deliver relief from:
- Hot or cold rooms
- High Humidity
- Excessive Utility Costs
- Noisy Systems
- Duct leakage
- Dust and poor filtration
- Early equipment failure
- And other comfort problems

ROTOBRUSH
The
ROTOBRUSH is the newest technology in DUCT CLEANING and we’ve
purchased it just this year. It’s a video assisted
DUCT CLEANING machine that brushes and vacuums at the point
of contact. It video tapes your DUCT CLEANING experience
both before and after so that you can see the job done right.
The video camera is sent through the ducts at the time of
our FREE ESTIMATE so you can determine if your ducts need
to be cleaned or not. The video camera will also often uncover
any damaged or leaking ducts, which can be costing you money
in electric bills. Contact us to schedule your FREE ESTIMATE
today.
Our third newest product line
Our third newest product line is for
the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
of your home. There have been articles and general concern
for the poor Indoor Air Quality in our nation for several years
now. With tighter built homes and more time spent in our homes,
the need for better IAQ products has become a leader in the
technology field. As with all the other products that we sell,
supply, and service, we have tested the IAQ products ourselves
in our homes and here at the office to make sure it’s
something we can honestly say works. Feel free to browse through
our website and take a look at the Indoor Air Quality page
to see if you might have a need for some or all of these new
technologies, then contact us for a FREE ESTIMATE.
